The Institute Wide Review report on Hólar University has been published, and may be accessed here, on the Rannís web site.
The review team was appointed by the Quality Board of Higher Education in Iceland and was composed of: Crichton Walker Lang (chair), Ågot Aakra, Teitur Erlingsson, Susan Hunter og Kerstin Norén. The role of the team is to follow up on the vision of the Quality Board that institute wide reviews support universities on their journey to sequre and enhance quality of degrees, student learning experince and management of research. This work is supported by the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.
The report highlights the academic specialization of the University, the international atmosphere, impressive research activity and education in close connection to the industry and the community. The Team concludes that:
