Icelandic speciallist farrier exam
This intensive program is designed to provide students with the neccessary skills and knowledge to become qualified international farriers specializing in the hoof-care and maintenance of Icelandic horses.
It is a 30 ECTS program combined of 750 hours of practical and theoretical study, including onsite sessions at Hólar and online lessons and assignments spread across one

Admission requirements
a) High school exam or other comparable education/experience,
b) At least 5 years´experience of farrier work.
c) Submitance of documentation of own work, short essay about background in farriery and motivation for taking part in this course. Fooowed by an online interview.
