Submission of Self-Evaluation Report to the Icelandic Agency for Quality Assurance

Hólar University has submitted a self-evaluation report as part of an institutional review conducted by the Icelandic Agency for Quality Assurance, which will take place in November within the University of Iceland university system. The review covers both the University of Iceland in Reykjavík and Hólar University as a campus. Each university submitted its own self-evaluation report.

The report discusses the lessons learned and actions taken following the institution-wide review in 2019, as well as learning from internal monitoring and reviews. In addition, the university's operations are reflected upon considering the evaluation themes of the Icelandic quality enhancement framework for higher education.

The three evaluation themes are:

1. Teaching and Learning

2. Research and Innovation

3. The quality system and Strategic Management
